Standard bank has confirmed that its app and internet banking services are down today. Stephen Grootes spoke to the Chief Executive Officer of Personal and Business Banking, Funeka Montjane, who confirmed that internet banking, the app, branch service and call centre were down due to a system error. She explains that this is due to a hardware issue.
Montjane says that Standard Bank ATMs are working and being monitored that there is enough money to service customers.
