'Snake pastor must get what's coming to him' - EFF spokesperson

Police are investigating a case of public violence after Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members allegedly dismantled and burnt a tent belonging to a so called prophet infamous for feeding snakes to members of his congregation.

Penuel Mnguni, dubbed the snake pastor has come under scrutiny for his recent actions.

According to Ntobeng Ntobeng, Spokesperson Gauteng EFF, Mnguni evaded EFF members when they arrived at his church to feed him what he has been giving to his faithful followers.

We wanted to give to give the thug pastor a taste of his own medicine. If he is able to give poor, vulnerable community members snakes and rats to eat, he must demonstrate as well. We came with a small mouse and we wanted him to see whether it really tastes like chocolate, as he suggests. But he made a run for it.

Ntobeng Ntobeng, Spokesperson Gauteng EFF

Ntobeng says that their actions were in an effort to correct Mnguni's immorality and claims that it was the impatient community members that dismantled the structure, not the party.

The EFF visited the End Times Disciples Ministries in Soshanguve on Sunday.
