We don’t have a brand problem. Parents are voting with their feet!

Dr Chris van der Merwe

South Africans are immensely sensitive to racism. All schools have to deal with incidents. In the past 18 years we’ve had three incidents of racism. We’ve changed leadership at the school in question.

Dr Chris van der Merwe

The risk to our reputation is real. We have to deal with these incidents with honesty.

Dr Chris van der Merwe

Our schools are 60% full.

Dr Chris van der Merwe

Our intention is to add about seven campuses per year.

Dr Chris van der Merwe

We don’t want to poach the superstar teachers in the state sector.

Dr Chris van der Merwe

We have 2500 teachers of which 570 are black.
