Prosecutors have filed an appeal calling for Oscar Pistorius to be convicted of murder. The blade runner is set to get parole on Friday after serving 10 months behind bars, of a five-year sentence, for Culpable Homocide after the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Pistorius is due to serve the rest of his term in "custodial supervision", a form of house arrest.
The National Prosecuting Authority has steadfastly maintained that he should be convicted of murder. Their appeal is set to take place in November.
