SA can double per capita income, eliminate extreme poverty by 2030 – World Bank

South Africa could double its per capita income and eliminate extreme poverty by 2030, according to a recently released World Bank Group report.

The report states that the country can achieve this by generating jobs for its high (and growing) number of young workers.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Catriona Purfield, Lead Economist at the World Bank in South Africa.
