Mexican food is the fastest growing food in the world at the moment. And while the world is also banting and watching their wheat consumption, Masafrica makes authentic, great-tasting Mexican food products that are also banting friendly.

Masafrica was nominated by Roger Eaton who went for Masafrica because they are the only ones he could find that provided Mexican food products he was looking for with personalised customer service.

Masafrica Corn Flour (Pty) Ltd is a company that manufactures and supplies authentic corn and flour based Mexican food such as nachos (tortilla chips), Taco’s (corn tortilla) and wraps (flour tortilla) - all made with South African corn.

Our corn products are all gluten and wheat free and tastes better than bread. We can deliver small amounts or or high volumes. We can even deliver it at a similar price that people buy bread for, which makes for great staple food.

Gerhard Pfaff, Founder of Masafrica Corn Flour (Pty) Ltd

Masafrica caters to restaurants within the greater Johannesburg, Midrand, Pretoria, Randburg and Sandton areas on a weekly basis and free delivery is offered to consumers.

Scroll down to listen to 702 presenter Xolani Gwala chatting to Masafrica’s Gerhard Pfaff about his 702 Small Business Awards nomination.

We're passionate about what we do and we're passionate about our customers. And we have a good product that not many companies in Africa manufacture. We can see a lot of restaurants starting to order our nachos, tortillas, tacos and wraps.
