I was the national black tennis champion back in the 80s. I was in the same squad as Wayne Ferreira though I never played against him. I could’ve been a pro, but I was born a bit too early.

Mothobi Seseli

I wrote to John McEnroe when I was young and he wrote back!

Mothobi Seseli

I was an excellent dancer! You should see my trophies. My wife and I still dance; my wife complains I like to show off.

Mothobi Seseli

Last year I went on a gratitude drive. I gave thanks to everyone that played a role in my life.

Mothobi Seseli

My mother is very important to me. My mother is 78 but has a Facebook account and talks about data bundles!

Mothobi Seseli

My dad taught me to think large, but my mother gave me confidence.

Mothobi Seseli

My mother got me into economics.

Mothobi Seseli

I married a very strong woman. She ensured I was on time for this interview!

Mothobi Seseli

Black people have historically only invested after an insurance salesman has visited them.

Mothobi Seseli

I regard myself as a role model.

Mothobi Seseli

We need more black investment management professionals.

Mothobi Seseli
