Last week Friday, the Afternoon Drive team hosted an impromptu #702Unplugged session where a call was made to 702land for talented artists to pop into the studio and put their best performance forward Idols style.

Phile Sithathu was one of the three entrants who wowed the "judges" in studio and won all of 702land's hearts after her performance. Catch what you missed in the video below:

Born and raised in Meadowlands, Soweto, Sithathu has a smooth voice that stirs the soul with her commanding voice.

She launched her debut album "Ke Mosadi" (I am woman)before an intimate audience at Constitution Hil in Joburg last night.

702 popped in to catch up with Sithathu to find out what her plans for the future are - and if fans can catch her performing live across Joburg anytime soon.
