What in the World Happened To ... First Big Brother SA Winner : Ferdinand Rabie

In 2002 winner of the first Big Brother SA Ferdinand Rabie was signed on as a presenter for Afrikaans station, Kyknet.

Rabie then embarked on a short stint in the television industry – joining Laugh Out Loud for the first two seasons of the popular comedy show.

More than 11 years after winning the one million rand from Big Brother SA in March last year, rumours surfaced that the personality was experiencing financial woes after attorneys Lucas Dysel Crouse lodged an application for his estate to be sequestrated.

Xolani chats to Rabie to find out what in the world he's been up to lately and what he did with all that money.

These days Ferdinand is a dad and pours his energy into his tour company, Ferdinand Tours and Adventures, in the Western Cape.
