The 78-year-old businessman and mining entrepreneur was found dead in his car, with a gunshot wound to the head, on Tuesday afternoon.

According to EWN reporter Siyabonga Sesant, Upper Bebington Avenue in BishopsCourt was closed off for several hours yesterday afternoon.

His family have confirmed that he committed suicide and the police have so far ruled out any foul play in the case.

While the police are still investigating, they have confirmed that no foul play is suspected.

It’s believed he shot himself in the head at around 14:30 in the afternoon.

Investigative journalist Mandy Wiener says that Kebble leaves behind a complex legacy.

Although he revolutionised the mining industry, he was still marred in controversy for the most of his life.

According to Wiener, Kebble was still troubled by the death of his son, who was found dead in a similar assisted suicide in September 2005.
