"State owned enterprises must retrench, but they won’t"

Bradley Conradie, Partner and Labour Lawyer at Bradley Conradie Halton Cheadle (BCHC), wrote a column in Business Day today about state owned enterprises’ failure to implement crucial retrenchments.

Conradie said that, instead of following through on retrenchments, SOEs merely made announcements that “parties are in discussions”.

Conradie said that this means the proposed retrenchments will quietly disappear.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Conradie.
