Kramer is known for his stage performances dating back decades. One of his career highlights was performing alongside an equally talented Taliep Petersen for 20 years. Their musicals, including District Six, became household names across the world.

Xolani went down memory lane with Kramer, talking about how Petersen's passing affected him and on a lighter note about how the leather shoes called "veld skoene" that Kramer often wears on stage were informally called Kramers.
