Is your job making you sick?

Peter Kriel, an education expert, spoke to 702's Azania Mosaka about some of the factors that lead to stress in the workplace.

Kriel said work-related stress is the response people may have when presented with work demands and pressures that are not matched to their ability or knowledge.

The education expert noted that a happy job is one that you are happy in.

As long as you are happy in your job and you enjoy what you are doing that to me is a healthy job.

Kriel said that stress at work comprises of two things.

“There are those you can change and those that you can’t do anything about especially at a more junior level.”
