Complaints about Vaal River sewage spill 'fall on deaf ears'

He told Azania that they have been having a problem with raw sewerage overflowing from a pump station into the river. The residents, he said, had made numerous attempts to contact the Emfuleni Local Municipality but most of the time their complaints fell on deaf ears.
