How to travel to the UK on a tight budget

Experts say travel broadens the mind, and one needs to take a leap of faith to see the world. But money often gets in the way of an adventure.

702's Azania Mosaka spoke to Vumani Mkhize, who recently went to the UK, about how to enjoy the country on a tight budget.

Mkhize said the weak South African rand didn't count in his favour and he had to sacrifice a few things to buy souvenirs and see some of the places he wanted to see. Mkhize shared his experiences of seeing, among others, The Thames, The Tube and Buckingham Palace.
