Black and white are just skin colours not an opportunity for discrimination

Bridges Camp is an organisation aimed at bringing together young people (at a camp) to help them overcome racism and prejudices.

They gather together 10-14 year olds by providing them with a safe space to get to know young people from other ethnic backgrounds.

Juliane Hoss is the founder of the Bridges Camp and a One Young World Ambassador, a UK-based not-for-profit organization.

Listen to the full conversation below:

According to Juliane, in the first days of the camp the kids are afraid of each other but later in the week they become friends, failing to notice colour.

The impact is just amazing, we are impressed with how they are willing to change the way they interact with each other
