A lawyer representing the late Reeva Steenkamp's family has confirmed that the parole board has informed her that Oscar Pistorius will be released under correctional supervision on Tuesday, October 20.
The athlete was serving a five-year prison term for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp more than two years ago. It’s reported that he will have to undergo weekly psychiatric treatment and perform community service.
