Wits protest leader: If fee increase is not rectified, we will continue

The Wits fees protest has been hailed as a defining moment in South African higher education, after the university suspended its proposed 10.5 percent increase in student fees for next year and signed an agreement with students for new negotiations in this regard.

This protest has also caught on at Stellenbosch University, Rhodes University as well as University of Cape Town, where students are now protesting fee increases. (Read more about this here)
