Is television advertising in a state of ill health?

With the rise of competing media channels, especially digital, predictions about the demise of TV arises.

It is now 60 years since the first TV ad was aired in the UK and 40 since South Africans saw their first one. Opinions are divided on whether TV advertising is dying.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield spoke to Andy Rice, Branding and Advertising Expert, about whether these predictions are right. Is TV still holding its own?

According to Rice, television advertising has never been in rude health like now. He says that television advertising works and it is the most effecient form of advertising.
