The Daily Vox: A brave new voice of reason?

Young news portal, The Daily Vox has been commended for the work that they do in covering news events both locally and abroad, bringing in depth analysis. They have especially been commended for their coverage of the #FeesMustFall student uprising.

They have started a crowd funding initiative to help the organization keep afloat.

702's John Robbie spoke to co-founder Khadija Patel about how they plan to ignite funding. Patel told John that they are willing to go with commercial sponsorship, as long as it guarantees that they remain editorially independent.
