DJ Black Coffee: I'm the hungriest guy in the music industry

DJ Black Coffee has taken to social media to respond to all the praise and celebratory messages, after his historic win at the BET awards in Los Angeles.

The We Dance Again hit maker bagged the prestigious award for Best International Act: Africa - making him the first South African ever to do so.

Real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo, he says that it's a great honour to be recognised among such hard working artists in his category.

Despite his rise to fame and all the global acknowledgements, DJ Black Coffee manages to stay humble.

The house music fanatic says his secret to success is the unwavering passion he has for the music above anything else.

I'm a music fan... I listen as a fan, I deejay as a fan, I think as a fan. Over time, guys who make music often forget that it's for the love.

Following his viral online dance challenge in 2015, an international DJ Award win and his new album, DJ Black Coffee shares his success story.

My whole life, I've tried to remain that same guy that was hungry from the beginning. I think I'm the hungriest guy in this industry.
