What's Hot on The Small Screen?

Avid TV viewers will be glad to know that there is a whole lot of juicy television happening this week!

Last week Wednesday, the first episode of Orange is the New Black aired on Mnet’s brand new sister channel Mnet Edge.

Popular American spoof-reality show _The _Real Husbands of Hollywood, airs on eTv for the first time this Saturday, the reality TV show features singer Robin Thicke and comedian, Kevin Hart.

We’ve heard rumors that the new version of Generations will feature fan favourite, Connie Ferguson, who captured the hearts of many South Africans for 16 years as ‘Karabo Moroka’ before she left Generations in 2010. South Africa can expect its favourite primetime television show to be back on 1 December 2014; although they haven’t started shooting yet it sounds like soon we’ll have Generations back on our screens!

Further afield, creator of _Glee _and American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy is creating a new series that covers true-life crime-drama “American Crime Drama”. The series will cover real life crimes like the OJ Simpson trial; it's been rumoured that the series will cover the Oscar Pistorius trial.
