The average disposable salary in SA is R12 989 (and growing by 6.6% per year)

Average salary growth declined slightly to 6.6% as the large back pay of civil servant salary increases abated, according to the BankservAfrica Disposable Salary Index (BDSI).

The average disposable salary for September was R12 989; about R120 lower than August.
