Cassper Nyovest wants 'Rihanna moment' at Orlando Stadium

Award-winning rapper Cassper Nyovest is setting his sights on filling up the 40 000-seater Orlando Stadium on April 27 next year after his sold-out concert at The Dome on Saturday.

Speaking to Night Talk presenters Sizwe Dhlomo and Gugu Mhlungu, the rapper said he was "still living the moment" of "making history" after pulling a crowd no other South African artist has.

We were thinking of doing two nights but I thought it would be more monumental if we took it to Soweto... I'd like to have that Rihanna moment when she was here... I think the stadium is the next step.

Listen to the conversation below:

We need corporate support and government to back us up... I got to show the people... that I'm as great as Kanye West or Jay Z. If was just given the same opportunity and type of stage, I could even do better...
