Why loads of school homework can be counterproductive for young kids

Sun Valley Primary has done away with conventional and uniform classroom homework in the school across all grades.

School Principal Gavin Keller, instead, introduced what he refers to as "personal performance tasks" to unlock creativity and grow mentally balanced children.

The local school decided to scrap homework at the start of the third term and say it has yielded positive results.

Hours continuing academic work alone will mean our children won't be mentally stable by the ages of 18 or 19.
