JZ presides over worst rand rout since PW Botha - Dwaine van Vuuren (Sharenet)

The rand hasn’t been this weak since 1984 when South Africa was run by P.W. Botha under international sanctions, says Dwaine van Vuuren, Head of Research and Product Development at Sharenet.

Botha served 41% of his term with South Africa in recession.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Van Vuuren, Head of Research and Product Development at Sharenet.

Van Vuuren spoke about a recent article of his entitled “Zuma presides over worst Rand Rout since 1984” in which he explores the state and trend of the rand since 1984.
