There is some confusion regarding the origins of 'Black Friday', which saw hoards of customers flocking to stores after retailers slashed prices.
A caller on 702's Redi Tlhabi Show expressed some concern regarding what could be a racial connotation on the sales bonanza which has been dubbed 'Black Friday'.
