Terms & Conditions

  • This competition runs on 702 from Monday 4th February until Friday 15 March 2019 on the Azania Mosaka show. To participate, listeners must send a voice note to 078 985 6758 sharing their funny or happy story of their experiences at Tourism Grading Council establishments. Each Friday the winning voice note will be played on air. The winning voice note will be selected at the discretion of the 702 programming team.
  • Prize description:
    • A one night stay at the Shishangeni Lodge in the Kruger National Park for you and a partner to the value of R15 000 per night.
    • The holiday is a self-driving one with SA Tourism and 702 not being responsible for the transportation of the winners. All transport and fuel costs must be covered by the winners.
  • The prize is not negotiable, not transferrable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • 702 and SA Tourism will not be held liable for entries not received for any reason whatsoever, and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced while participating.
  • A participant will not be able to win this competition if they have won a prize on any of the Primedia radio stations within the past 90 days, whether on-air, online or via any of the station’s social platforms.
  • If a winner chosen does not comply, their entry will be disqualified, and a new winner will be randomly drawn.
  • In the event that a winner cannot be successfully contacted, is ineligible to accept the prize, or contravenes the terms and conditions of this competition or of 702 and SA Tourism, the prize will forfeit.
  • Primedia Broadcasting will notify the winner from where and when the prize can be collected.
  • 702 reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  • Employees of SA Tourism, Primedia Broadcasting and their immediate family and friends, are not permitted to enter the competition.
  • By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  • The travel itinerary redemption is administered by an Independent Tour Operating company(s) on behalf of the South African Tourism Board.
  • This package is valid from the 01st of February 2019 till end of April 2019. All bookings will be made on behalf of the winners preferred or stipulated dates. Within the above specified period.
  • All confirmations must be made by the winner personally for a specific itinerary developed by the South African Tourism Board and cannot be changed thereafter. Once the bookings are confirmed with the hotel no changes may be made.
  • The South African Tourism Board reserves the right to cancel and/ or amend the desired booking dates as travel is subject to availability, the winner shall be reasonably notified in such instances.
  • The South African Tourism Board is also not responsible for any additional costs that maybe incurred by the winner, and that are not stipulated as part of the prize. These may include, amongst others, costs due to mini bar and room service, transport costs to get to and from the TGCSA graded establishment.
  • The prize does not included costs related to any extended stay. Should you as the winner of this competition wish to extend your booking, the costs of the additional night (s) will be at your own account and will need to be settled directly with the hotel.
  • Any damage or missing items from the hotel that may have been caused by you as the winner together with your partner will be for your own account and South African Tourism Board shall not be held liable and/ or responsible for same.
  • You accordingly agree to indemnify us of any amount that maybe leveled against you for any additional charges relating to the above mentioned items that you may incur.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the South African Tourism Board nor their employees and agents supporting the Competition shall be responsible for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by any entrant or Prize winner (including but not limited to any direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss or damages) or for any personal injury (whether physical or mental) suffered or sustained by the winner and/or their accompanying partner as a result of or in connection with the Competition or the acceptance, use or application of the Prize.
  • If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the control of the South African Tourism Board, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, then the South African Tourism Board reserves the right at its sole discretion to postpone, modify, reschedule or cancel the Competition and/or determine the winner from among all eligible entries received prior to that decision being made. South African Tourism Board accepts no liability where any such event may occur. Entrants waive the right to claim as a cost of winning any prize, any and all costs or expenses associated with redemption or travel to redeem.
  • To be hosted by the South African Tourism Board you must be: (a) South African citizen; and (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
  • The winners may be announced on the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa’s social media platforms after they have been notified and confirmed receipt of their notification.
  • By entering the competition, the winner agrees to receive correspondence from the South African Tourism Board from time to time.
  • If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
