Jopie Fourie Laerskool:
  • Wooden Jungle gym for the junior children – with swings, slides, ropes and platforms (retails for about R10 000)

  • English language books for the media centre – new or used – and educational DVDs

  • Stationery for junior grades (140 children) including pens, pencils, crayons, sharpeners, rulers, scissors;

  • Stationery for teachers including pens, scissors and paper for photocopying

  • Paint and painting of walls and ceiling of one of the old classrooms


Inkululeko Centre:

  • A carpet for the multi-purpose hall where the children play and sleep

  • Stationery as for Jopie Fourie (60 pre-school children)

  • Toys – new or used – for the toy library

CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Tileba Pharmacy is sponsoring four Internal doors;
  • Martine Schaffer from the Click Foundation is already running a literacy programme for Grade R Inkululeko, but is contributing cash;
  • Lisa Lester is sponsoring toys for the library;
  • RTT Medical will bring a team of seven people to paint two classrooms and kit it with educational posters and stationery;
  • Zero 1 Systems Development (Pty) Ltd are giving R25 000 in cash to buya  jungle gym, plus on the day a giant birthday cake with 94 candles for the children and a small fruit juice each;        
  • EASITAPE PTY LTD is giving R 5 000;          
  • Galileo Capital are giving R10 000;
  • JG Electronics are sponsoring 60 x toy monkeys for the toy library at Inkululeko Centre;
  • Tom McEwan is giving R1 000;
  • Lisa Odendal is giving R200 towards A4 copy paper;         
  • Petra Campher is giving R2 000 worth of stationery;        
  • Dulux Paint is sponsoring paint for the entire day-care centre, and two contractors to do the work;
  • King Pie is sponsoring Amazwi Ethu English Story Books;
  • Southern Sun Pretoria is giving Party Packs, paper cups and sandwiches;
  • Shoprite is sponsoring chips, juice, paper plates and party hats;
  • Massmart/Builders Warehouse is supplying carpet for the day-care centre, paint for the outside wall and Grade R classroom, and stationery for the day-care centre from Makro;
  • Toy Zone – Woodlands are supplying toys for the day-care centre;
  • Ludwig's Roses are supplying roses for the monument outside;
  • Monkeytrix are supplying a jungle gym at cost, to be paid from monetary donations;     
  • The Prue Leith Academy are baking a cake and cupcakes for the day-care centre and supplying educational DVDs;
  • Tracy Parson is an artist and is supplying her skill to paint a fun educational mural on the day-care centre wall;
  • The National Library in Pretoria is sponsoring African Language Classics.
