THEIR NEEDS

Hall: faulty roller shutter door- needs to be replaced for use to divide the room, or at the very least removed altogether as it is a danger to the children (could fall on them);

Refurbishing the playground used by the grade R class: new jungle gym equipment and painting of perimeter fence.

Separate facility for senior girls/boys and teachers (currently shared with small kids)

Repair toilets in the main ablution block, fit doors on the toilets and attend to plumbing which is regularly blocked.

Provide and fit a sink in the classroom used as a kitchen

Furniture, shelving and pigeon holes for the staff room

Brick paving for the central area between classrooms

Supply rubbish bins
CONTRIBUTIONS
- Ike Kunene from Software AG is going to paint the perimeter fence, clean the storeroom, set up the recycling facility, and give the front garden a make-over.
- Blythe Bosman from Dulux Paint is going to paint and supply staff to do the work.
- Faith Chabeli and the Bona Bonolo Project (Makwela Optometrists) are going to test and give spectacles to five disadvantaged kids.
