He also spoke about the years he spent on Robben Island as a political prisoner, along with the former South African President, Nelson Mandela. He says he learned a lot about politics in prison. Mr. Kathrada said the greatest achievement by the ANC is gaining the dignity of the people of South Africa post the 1994 elections, which is something the current leadership needs to regain.</description>
