Errol Ballantine standing in for Leigh was joined by attorney Ulrich Roux. Errol and Ulrich were talking about drunk driving laws in South Africa. Ulrich explained that there are two separate ways in which you can contravene the drunk driving laws; by either driving under the influence of alcohol or under the influence of a drug that has a narcotic effect. Both these are taken very seriously by traffic officials as well as the court system in South Africa and it is important that you know what your rights are if you ever find yourself in this situation. Listeners called in to share their experiences and views on South Africa needing more stringent punishment.
