The Dis-Chem Foundation’s Random Acts of Kindness will be flighted on Mzansi Magic from 2nd May.
The Dis-Chem Foundation has a long term partnership with Talk Radio 702, 567 CapeTalk, 94.7 Highveld Stereo and 94.5 Kfm. Together, they identify organisations which are serving their communities well but need a helping hand.
To date, over R6,5 million has been donated to schools, community organisations, foundations and projects to help them continue doing the great work that they are doing for others.
“There are so many remarkable South Africans, who are commited to improving the lives of others,” said Lynette Saltzman, founder of the Dis-Chem Foundation.
“Through our loyal Dis-Chem customers, we are able to put funds towards some of these amazing projects.”
Through the partnership with Primedia Broadcasting, the initiatives supported by these Random Acts of Kindness are already highlighted to a large audience.
“With the new inserts on the Mzansi Magic Channel, we have an opportunity to showcase these great South African stories to a whole new viewership,” said Saltzman.
From 2nd May the Random Acts of Kindness insert will air from Monday to Friday at 17h55 on Mzanzi Magic, DSTV channel 107. Each week a new Random Act of Kindness will feature, starting with an overview of the campaign.
