Talk Radio 702 are proud to announce the return remarkable vocalist Katie Melua to SA. The tour begins on Thursday 18th & 19th September at the Big Top Arena Carnival City, Johannesburg.

One of South Africa’s premier acts Harris Tweed has been selected to perform with Katie Melua on her Johannesburg leg of her SA tour. Their debut album The Younger has churned out radio hits one after the other. Album opener Superfly, Ode To Confusion and Beautiful Mystery has all been lead radio singles, with Ode To Confusion playlisted on MTV Europe as well as VH1.

Donnay Torr and Cherilyn MacNeil make up the dynamic outfit Harris Tweed, both passionate about their craft, they started out in a band named Pilot, they then decided that their musical tractectory was different to that of their then band mates, thus Harris Tweed was born. With their ability to wrap an audience in their music, carrying them away with their artistic flair, Harris Tweed is sure to entice all that listens to their artistic vision.

Katie Melua was pronounced the highest selling female artist in Britain in 2005 selling more than one million albums. ‘’Piece By Piece’’ continued to sell through 2006 making Katie the biggest selling British female artist in the world! Join her as she serenades Carnival City with her majestic voice.
