The first Mandela Day is being celebrated on Madiba’s birthday this Saturday 18 July. The call is for people to volunteer 67 minutes of their time for a good cause (67 minutes representing the 67 years of his life Mandela sacrificed in the struggle for freedom). In order to encourage people to get involved David is asking 702 listeners to clean out their kid’s closet and donate the clothing to the Teddy Bear Clinic. Here are the details.
