Jenny Crwys-Williams took part in a first-for-Africa event when she conducted a Skype interview with a UK-based author.

Each Wednesday, Jenny speaks to a different author during her show on Talk Radio 702. This week was a little different as she spoke to Cecilia Ahern live from England via Skype.

Ahern is the best-selling author of numerous titles including PS I Love You and The Gift and she is currently publicising her new title, The Book of Tomorrow. Her ‘Virtual World Tour’ via Skype included interviews in Singapore, Australia, Germany, and for the first time, a Skype interview with a journalist in Africa.

Jenny and Cecilia’s conversation took place at the 702 studios in Sandton, in front of an audience of 100 listeners, who got an opportunity to ask the author questions and to interact with her during the interview.
