| Feedback on the Leondale Bus Accident |
In 2005 we helped raised funds for three learners injured in a bus accident. One learner was killed and three lost their legs. The funds raised were then administered by the Gauteng Education Development Trust on behalf of the Gauteng Department of Education. Representatives from the department came to our offices and gave us feedback and presented us with a report detailing exactly what has been done. Basically the three learners have received counseling, comprehensive healthcare, specially adapted housing and various other donations – both financial and in kind. There is some money left in the fund and it has been decided to give that money, along with financial counseling, to the three learners. Click here to read more
