Premier Alan Winde COVID-19 vaccine update

18 January 2021 8:13 AM

Western Cape's premier, Alan Winde joins Kfm Mornings to explain the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out plan.

"We have got supply coming, there's a single entry point at a national level"

"We've got the promise of a million doses this month, which will be rolled out first thing next month"

"Followed by another half a million - this is for the country - and we'll get our share of it to go to the frontline workers"

"Of course, we're playing our part, we'll get our system in place, so we can roll-out vaccines to everybody across the province, the smallest hamlet, the smallest village and towns across the whole province, between the private and public sector - we will make sure that there's a plan to do this"
