Every week, Rameez Khan of Kfm Mornings makes his way to courthouses across Cape Town to hear their stories - and sometimes dole out some advice. This week he spent time at the Bellville Magistrates Court.

There he speaks with a Chimney Sweep who has lost his business phone number due to non-payment and a young man who was falsely accused of stabbing someone.

What's Happening in the Courthouse? Stolen money and possession of drugs

Every week, Rameez Khan of Kfm Mornings makes his way to courthouses across Cape Town to hear their stories. This week, Rameez made his way to the Kuils River Magistrates' Court.

Rameez first speaks to a pensioner visiting the small claims court. After paying a R11,000 deposit for materials to erect a wall, the builder she hired ran off with her money. She has been back and forth in court for months. When the Magistrate requested that the builder pay off the stolen money in R1000 instalments, the man agreed - only to never pay a cent.

The second person Rameez speaks to at court for possession of drugs. He claims that he is being framed by the police. Two policemen reprimanded him whilst another planted the drugs near him. The case has been ongoing for over a year.

What's Happening at the Courthouse? Divorce and frequent robbery victim

Every week, Rameez Khan of Kfm Mornings makes his way to courthouses across Cape Town to hear their stories. This week, Rameez made his way to the Bellville Magistrates' Court.

Rameez first meets a gentleman who after 10 years of marriage, has decided to pursue a divorce. He and his soon-to-be ex-wife share three children together. They have tried counselling but he feels it's better for the kids if they go their separate ways. 

The second man Rameez speaks to has been robbed on numerable occasions. Most recently, he was accosted by 5 men on a train between Klapmuts and Paarl station.
