US official heads to Africa on anti-poaching campaign


U S Interior Secretary Sally Jewell heads to Africa on Wednesday to denounce the trafficking of wild animals, on the rise over the past five years.  A Muslim teacher who shielded Christian fellow passengers when their bus was attacked by Islamist militants has died in surgery to treat his bullet wound.  French Prime Minister Manuel Valls on Tuesday said three gunmen involved in the attack on an upscale hotel and nearby restaurant in the Burkina Faso capital of Ouagadougou on Friday were still on the run.
