The Last Hour - Kerwin

Guest : Kerwin His love for music started at the very young age of 5 where he used to sing with his father's acapella quartet, listening and learning to sing various vocal ranges. At the age of 14 he discovered his grandfather’s old guitar in their garage. He dusted the guitar off and gave it a strum and eventually taught himself how to play a few notes. Growing up he always enjoyed listening to soulful music he felt he could connect to. His strongest influence has always been to make music with meaning. Born in Paarl, Kerwin’s family relocated to Hermanus, where he finished his high school career. From starting with poems to writing sincere, catchy and heartfelt R&B Pop songs that his fans now simply cannot get enough of. Kerwin joins us in today. And as always, he'll start off introducing himself not with words, but with music. Kerwin’s album will be on JOOX from next week, along with other emerging artists from South Africa.
