               Tarryn Tomlinson

National Disability Rights Awareness Month is commemorated every year from 3
November and 3 December with the 3rd December recognised as International Day of
Persons with Disabilities
Joining us tonight for this topic is David Nhlapo better known as Victorious David, David
was gunned down and paralysed in 2006 but he turned his pain & suffering into
something positive by becoming a Life Coach and Transformational speaker. he is also
an advocate for mental & Physical health.
In studio is Tarryn Tomlinson, she is an accessibility and inclusion auditor for hotels and
public spaces. She visits places and checks building plans as well as the facilities to
ensure necessary details aren’t overlooked. Tarryn developed rheumatoid arthritis at
the age of 18 and within a year and a half she was confined to a wheelchair but through
her work, she’s proving that people with disabilities don’t need sympathy, but agency.
