I grew up on the East Rand, won’t mention where, but moved to Pretoria while finishing my Journalism Diploma at the Tshwane University of Technology. I’ve always had a passion for writing which has served me well in my career and if I wasn’t scribbling away I’d have my nose buried in a book. I’ve tried my hand at magazine, newspaper and online writing and had some great chances in radio. I joined Eyewitness News in 2008 and after meeting the incredibly talented, screaming team working within the company and feeling the pressure of tight deadlines, I was convinced 702 was the place to be.
