My name is Lebogang Seboka; I was born in Tembisa and raised in Vosloorus in the east of Johannesburg. I matriculated at Afrikaanse Hoerskool Germiston and went to work straight from high school. I’ve worked as a waitress, sales assistant in retail, receptionist, secretary and being the hustler that I am I built a career for myself as a Recruitment Consultant and although there was good money to be made and I had a nice house, nice car and all the nice things in between I was miserable because I knew I wanted to be in media. So, in 2011 I finally took that great leap of faith, left my job as recruitment consultant to become an intern at a community radio station called Radio Today and it all paid off because within 6 months I was at Talk Radio 702.

My grandmother Rose, every time I leave her presence I leave with renewed hope, faith and a great sense of God and self. Warm, loving and kind at 75 she is strong, independent, sassy, still working, still dreaming with all the wonderful wisdom that comes with age and experience. What a lady!

Yes, when my co presenter and I interviewed Mr. Seth Mazibuko about what happened on June 16th 1976. I was in awe and emotional.
If love was a person I would love to interview her and ask her about her splendor and complexities. Erykah Badu would be next on my list.
