Who is liable for vehicle damage caused by construction elements during the upgrade of roads around Gauteng?

We contacted the South African National Roads Agency Ltd (SANRAL), which told us that it is indemnified from third party claims in terms of the contract the organisation has with the contractors of a certain section of the national road that is being upgraded.
To submit a claim, call SANRAL on 012 426 6000, and they will pass it on and make sure it reaches the correct person.
