Deputy Defence Ministe Kebby Maphatsoe says reshuffling Cabinet is a president's prerogative and MK Vets unashamed of Gupta ties.

Deputy Minister of Defence, Kebby Maphatsoe, says he doesn't know why people want to remove the powers of the President.

Maphatsoe says President Jacob Zuma has the choice to explain or not explain why he has reshuffled his Cabinet.

This is a sign of the seriousness of the radical socio-economic transformation implementation.

You see that the President has appointed very young people, who come from ANC Youth League and have been promising young people that know we need radical economic transformation.

He says Zuma has a responsibility to implement the resolutions of the African National Congress (ANC).

It has been difficult whereby you find that the President is speaking this language, and ministers speaking a different language.

Maphatsoe says he doesn't understand why people have problems with the Gupta family.

Our (MK's) relationship is open and we are not going to hide it, and we are not ashamed of our relationship with the Gupta family.

They came to us and said you freedom fighters who fought for this country here are business opportunities. No one did that for us, even our comrades.
