Ben Ngubane resigns

Political analyst Karima Brown also looks at the fate of Helen Zille as the DA holds a media conference later this morning.

Public Enterprises Minister, Lynne Brown released a statement on Monday night announcing that Eskom board chair, Ben Ngubane has resigned.

He (Ben Ngubane) would have been watching as Hlaudi was dismissed by the SABC interim board. It's not surprising that he (Ngubane) is jumping ship.. he's at the centre of the State of Capture report.

Brown says Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba needs to lawyer-up and that he's in deep, deep trouble no matter how you look at it.

Gigaba bent over backwards to grant the Gupta's residency which he fast tracked.
