"Rogue Unit" book tells all
Book retailer Exclusive Books gave prominence to a recently published book which is an exposé of the so-called "rogue unit" at Sars.
The book “Rogue: The Inside Story Of SARS Elite Crime-Busting Unit’ is written by former Sars employees, Johann Van Loggerenberg, group executive and Adrian Lackay (spokesperson).
The book's release comes amid a probe on the Sars rogue unit, which led to the recent war between Minister Pravin Gordhan and the Hawks.
Benjamin Trisk, Group Chief Executive at Exclusive Books says it was pitched to him in secrecy some months ago and he was convinced it was going to be a worthwhile decision.
I was convinced this was not an expiatory book to give their side of the story. It was a proper inside detailed analysis of how Sars worked...Benjamin Trisk, Group Chief Executive at Exclusive Books
Trisk says the book is selling like hot cakes and they have no regrets supporting it. The book has explosive information about Sars and gives insight of how the unit worked.
It is extraordinary, revelatoryBenjamin Trisk, Group Chief Executive at Exclusive Books
