Doing great things to improve the lives of school children in South Africa
Jabulane Thabethe, CEO of the Hope for Africa foundation, initiated the Bare Foot Walk campaign, which challenges South Africans to walk bare footed for 40 days to show commitment in raising funds for school kids who don’t have proper school shoes.
The call is extended to government officials, business owners and ordinary community members to join in and help raise money to buy shoes for underprivileged school children.
He spoke to #NightTalk's Lovelyn Nwadeyi about other initiatives they are involved with to help raise funds for poor communities.

Another initiative which is aimed at changing the lives of of school children is Injabulo Projects, an NPO that renders services such as; an anti-bullying, incest survivor project and an LGBTIAQ+ support project.
Founder Lindiwe Dlhamini had a first had experience when her nephew tried to commit suicide because he was being bullied at school. She then decided to come up with a way to help school children address issues around bulling.
