Ihlengesi growing into a one stop shop for any catering kitchen

The company supplies dry goods such as rice and cereal to industrial catering companies.

Thembile Nqezo resigned from his job in 2015 to focus on his food supplying company, running it first from the boot of his car in 2015 and then progressing to a garage in 2016.

Ihlengesi Selective Catering Supplies has grown into a thriving a business with big plans to change the South African food services industry game.

Their long-term goal as a business is to build a one stop shop for any kitchen, corporate or industrial company by supplying quality products at competitive price.

The company supplies dry goods such as rice and cereal to industrial catering companies which cater for universities and medical institutions.

They are one of 20 nominees for the 702 Small Business Awards.

I spotted the gap in industrial catering companies, there is a lot that can be done.

We pre-pack cereal for universities and sell all sorts of dry goods from cooking rice to everything you can think of.
